Welcome to Dayley Skate

Coach Dayley provides individual, small group, and team coaching and specializes in meeting the goals of the individual during each session, from the first time recreational skater to the elite athlete.

Core lessons include: learn to skate, power skating, hockey skills, game systems, and game analysis. Sessions are customized to meet your needs and cater to team requests for guest coaching, speaking engagements and program/team/clinic development or consulting.

Coach Dayley's Highlights

Coach Dayley has 15 years of experience that ranges from coaching youth to adults; elite girls’ and women’s teams to men’s non-varsity collegiate ice hockey. She specializes in breaking hockey skills down into easy to understand components, as well as advanced playing systems and program development.

Coach Dayley had her coaching paraphanalia entered into the Hockey Hall of Fame (HHOF) in 1999 for being the first woman to coach men's collegiate hockey.

Dayley was also the first woman to receive the PAC-8 Coach of the Year (2002 & 2004) and the ACHA-West Coach of the Year honors as the head coach of the University of Washington men's non-varisty team.

Co-Developed 49th Parallel Programs
Camps, clinics, and teams to enhance elite level players’ skills andplace players in varisty programs
Within 2 years, aided in the placement of over 20 players in NCAA programs with scholarships

1st girls’ elite travel rep team in Seattle; goal of skill development & exposure to collegiate coaches

Over half the seniors went on to play collegiate ice hockey with scholarships
